This month, a new fuel supply system and pipework was designed, manufactured and installed for a major UK University.  Fuel is pumped and conditioned before it reaches the test cell in double wall stainless steel safety pipework.  The project involved running double wall stainless steel FSR pipework through a mixed route of underground ducting then up into a test building plant room, up to ceiling level and across through workshops, offices and plant areas until it was routed through into the engine test cells.  In use for petrol the interstitial gap between the two pipes is monitored 24/7/365 by an inert gas Leak Detection System to confirm system safety and security.
